With Dad

Most of my life I have been documenting family through photographs. It is ritual accepted without prejudice and my way to empathetically connect. In the case of my father succumbing to Alzheimer’s over a spread of twenty years, my determination to persistently photograph the man I love, reluctantly evolved into my eventual acceptance of an incomprehensible disease.
